February  2016 Issue 20

"It has been a busy start to the year with the Chamber hosting a number of events including: two networking evenings, the Qantas Emirates Great Southern Land Ball and most recently the AustCham Golf Tournament. We thank the sponsors who made these events possible. Be sure to scan the photos from the Ball in today’s eAdvance.

Advocacy work started in January with members asked to provide feedback on the trade liberalisation of the services sector. A good response was received and the Board is now working with the Australian Embassy and Ministry of Commerce to discuss the outcomes.

Next week we will hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 4.30pm on Thursday 3 March 2016 at the Grand Hyatt Erawan. The AGM will be followed by March Sundowners. We encourage you to attend the AGM to hear the wrap up of 2015 and cast your vote for 2016. Voting members who attend the AGM will receive a free voucher to March Sundowners. If you are not able to attend the AGM please remember to register your proxy – full details are available on the website. "
