If SO Sofitel Bangkok was an album, what songs would it play? Find out at three music events over one musical weekend at Sounds of SO on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 January 2017.
“We are gearing up to SO Sofitel Bangkok’s five year anniversary with a weekend celebrating our musical inspirations. Along with design and gastronomy, music is an indispensable part of the SO lifestyle, and something we are looking forward to sharing with our guests so we can, for two nights, move to the beat of the same SO drum,” said Mr. Yves Mudry, General Manager of SO Sofitel Bangkok.
To kick off the weekend DJ Maestro will be landing on the rooftop at SO Sofitel Bangkok as part of his “Blue Note Trip Asia Tour 2017” tour. The Jazz- DJ – globally known for his platinum-awarded Blue Note Trip mix series as well as other mix albums for famed labels Verve and Bethlehem Records – will be supported with a warmup set by DJ Bluesabelle from Australia from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The DJ Maestro party will take place on Friday 20 January 2017 from 8 p.m. to midnight at HI-SO; tickets are THB300 net at the door inclusive of one drink.
On Saturday 21 January 2017 two fabulous events offer two very difference vibes in the same evening. On the 9th floor at MIXO, Dutch songstress Athalie de Koning with be crooning soothing melodies with her Jazziam band for a sultry Jazz Night from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (free entry).
On the same night, up on the rooftop, the new HI-SO Pride party will be inaugurating a new series of monthly parties where fabulous boys and fantastic vibes make for a great reason to party together in the name of love. DJ Groove will be setting the pace for the debut pride parties which will be taking place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. every 3rd Saturday of the month (THB300 net inclusive of one drink).
To double up on the fun, a special combo ticket is also available for entry into DJ Maestro + HI-SO Pride parties (THB500, inclusive of one drink per party).
