On 20th July 2017, The St. Regis Bangkok presents The Exquisite: Chef’s Table hosted by Director of Culinary Chef Richard Sawyer, in an exclusive seven-course dinner menu, complete with drinks pairings, at VIU Restaurant.
Bangkok, Thailand, 29 June 2017 – The St. Regis Bangkok presents an exclusive Chef’s Table dinner at VIU Restaurant. Hosted by Director of Culinary Chef Richard Sawyer, a select few will be able to experience an intimate, premium showcase of unparalleled tastes, with fine vintages, at The Exquisite: Chef’s Table.
On 20th July 2017, at VIU Restaurant, on the hotel’s 12th floor, Chef Richard prepares culinary masterpieces, for an exclusive, limited seating, 7-course dinner, complete with Champagne, wine and cognac pairings.
With a backdrop of the Royal Bangkok Sports Club and city skyline beyond, befitting the occasion, the price for a coveted seat at ‘The Exquisite: Chef’s Table’ is THB 20,000++ per person, including the selected drinks pairings for each course.
In an evening beyond compare, tempting highlights include: a French 75 welcome cocktail with Piper Heidsieck Brut NV; a summer garden salad with Iberico ham and truffles; pan-fried scallops with black pudding and celeriac purée; butter-poached Boston lobster and caviar;
grain-fed Australian wagyu tenderloin and braised beef cheek; Classic English summer berry pudding, Eton Mess, complimented by Domaine des Bernardins Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise 2013; and a stilton ‘cheesecake’, cognac jelly, shortbread and chutney, with Rémy Martin XO, to name but a few.
Advance reservations are required, as seating is subject to limited availability, in an invitation to culinary excellence, from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, on Thursday 20th July 2017.
