A EPICUREAN THANKSGIVING AT THE EMBASSY

Trust The Embassy Room at level 9 of Park Hyatt Bangkok, right at the heart of the old Embassy Row, to observe all the thanksgiving dining traditions and present them top-table style for your party.

On Thursday, 23 November 2017, French Executive Chef Franck Detrait and his passionate team present a mouth-watering Main Course Thanksgiving Dinner superbly sandwiched between delectable buffets of appetizers and desserts.

Whet your appetite for the Thanksgiving feast with helpings of Beetroot salmon gravlax/sour cream & pickles; Roasted beef striploin salad/caramelized onions & grapes; Brussels sprout salad/bacon & apple, pecan nuts; Deviled eggs; Buttermilk Cornbread; Spinach & Philadelphia cheese pinwheels; Parmesan popovers; Roasted pumpkin soup & coconut milk; Onions soup & cheddar cheese.

Then savour the main course of oven-roasted Turkey, trimmed with mashed sweet potatoes & orange-glazed carrots, apple-walnut stuffing, green beans & bacon, roasted chestnuts, and, of course, homemade cranberry sauce.

That’s already a feast but somehow no effort at all will be required to do justice to the decadent buffet of traditional Thanksgiving desserts. With Bourbon apple pie; chocolate brownies; pumpkin & carrot cupcake; apple & cranberries crumble; vanilla ice cream, chocolate ice cream, raspberry sorbet, and mango sorbet poised at the ready it will be more pure pleasure.

As the dramatic architecture flows in curves, one side of the restaurant is bounded by a soaring window scoping the city. A split-level arrangement preserves the view even for tables closest to the large open kitchen where skilful chefs mill. Ornately textured sand tones dominate the scene, with scarlet plants on clothed tables, two original Chatchai Puipia (National Artist) artworks, and celadon green dinner plates providing contrast

One of the two private dining rooms features a miasmic Bodhi tree hand-painted and embroidered on Jim Thompson silk by Atinya Imjinda Outdoor dining overlooking the pool terrace also beckons.

All the perfect setting to complement the next generation Thanksgiving Dinner served in The Embassy Room’s inimitable style.
