The St. Regis Bangkok has paired with fine jewelry brand Qeelin, to present the exclusive, limited-edition Qeelin Afternoon Tea. Throughout June and July 2018, daily from 2:00pm and 5:00pm at The St. Regis Bar and The Drawing Room, guests can indulge in extravagant designer bites, overlooking the verdant Royal Bangkok Sports Club and cityscape beyond.

Award-winning Creative Director Dennis Chan established Qeelin to merge fine craftsmanship with cultural inspiration from Asia. Experts in the timeless tradition of afternoon tea, The St. Regis Bangkok has created deliciously luxurious sweet and savory treats, referencing the exquisite East-meets-West aesthetics and colors of the iconic Qeelin collections. These decadent delights are served on a distinctively designed presentation stand, in the signature gourd-shape of Qeelin’s WULU collection, together with complimentary TWG tea or coffee.

Qeelin Afternoon Tea signature pastry items include the three colors; The Black and The Red are the brand’s color and The Gold represents the wealth in Asian culture. Representing the Bo Bo collection, The Black sees a chocolate panda atop charcoal biscuit, chocolate ginger crémeux and chocolate mousse. The Red is a raspberry glazed jewel, with gianduja cream and a WULU collection pattern. The Gold is a nod to the Chinese Year of the Dog and inspired by the Wang Wang collection, with mandarin-flavor cake, lightly laced with coffee, gold covered chocolate and a logo-emblazoned macaron.

The Qeelin Afternoon Tea set for two people also includes cream tea scones, other sweet delights and a tempting selection of savories, such as: a Boston lobster and tom yum mayo soft roll; a duck liver mousse profiterole with coconut; Norwegian salmon gravlax, honey mustard and red onion, on rye bread; egg mayonnaise, black truffle paste and caviar; and a salami and mustard butter pretzel roll.
