Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok introduces ‘Phuket Lobster Festival - Discount 20% off on food for AustCham Members.
Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok is backing the Phuket Lobster Festival 2018 by showcasing dishes that feature this tasty marine crustacean at the hotel’s award-winning Scalini restaurant and Mondo restaurant.
The dishes have been created by Chef Supoj Suwanwong who, as a former resident of Phuket, appreciates the culinary value of lobsters caught in the seas off Phuket. It’s also another important opportunity for the hotel to support local communities.
“By working in collaboration with Social Enterprise Phuket Co. Ltd., we commit to contribute back to the local community by generating revenue for local fishermen. Of course, diners at Scalini and Mondo are also delighted because Phuket lobsters are well known and appreciated for their size, vivid color, compact texture and amazing flavor,” said hotel General Manager Ian Barrow. “This is another example of our steadfast commitment to support Thailand’s farmers, fishermen and food producers. Our chefs at Scalini bare thrilled to be preparing set menu and à la carte signature dishes that feature Phuket Lobster.”
‘Sunny Day’ is a fried lobster-cheese ball wrapped in Phuket traditional vermicelli. ‘Patong Beach’ is a lobster cocktail topped with avocado and based with gazpacho emulsion. ‘Phuket O-town’, the main course, is served with hand-crafted cavatelli pasta stir-fried with Phuket lobster, oyster, crackling pork, egg, cassava, bean sprouts and chilli. The dessert dish also features local Phuket produce such as pineapple, mango and coconut with tangy yogurt cream. We also serves Phuket Rock Lobster cooked to order: poached, grilled, classic thermidor or chilled.
Diners have the choice of a four-course Phuket Lobster dining experience priced at THB 2,600 net or choosing dishes à la carte with prices starting at THB 450 net.
