
Champion French menu from Iron Chef Thailand
to be served at Café Claire

Bangkok, 7 March 2019 – Enjoy an exclusive selection of creatively crafted dishes featuring premium Fine de Claire oysters, served daily at Café Claire only for March and April. Chef Eric Weidmann, victor of the recent Iron Chef Thailand competition, will serve his winning tasting à la carte menu that was featured in the episode for French cuisine.
Chef Eric defeated Iron Chef Thanunya “Gai” Wilkinson in a blind taste test by three judges. The chef wowed the panel with spectacular oyster dishes and his clever use of the secret ingredient, quail egg, in the final dish.
The dishes featured are as follows:
● Warm oyster with burnt leek and seaweed butter
● Grilled oyster with burrata and basil
● Shucked oyster with caviar osietra and Hokkaido sea urchin
● Creamy oyster soup with Champagne
● Crispy lava egg with potato espuma and truffle
