Mooncakes are an indispensable part of the Mid-Autumn Festival, and The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok, is presenting freshly baked mooncakes in delightful packaging inspired by the heritage of the late Princess Valaya Alongkorn.

The mooncakes are available from 1 July to 13 September 2019.

Princess Valaya, a daughter of King Rama V and the grand-aunt of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, Rama X, had lived at Kandhavas Palace, where the hotel is now located. She loved flowers and spending time in her garden, a royal pastime reflected in the theme of Spanish Cherry used in the four-piece box, and the floral design of the eight-piece Luxury Box.

The Athenee Hotel mooncakes are ideal for family, and make gifts that will be greatly appreciated by friends and business associates.

Two sizes of mooncake are available, small (60g) and large (170g), and both are baked in five flavors: lotus with single egg, custard, mixed nuts with single egg, durian with single egg, and durian chocolate custard.
