At the end of November, The World restaurant in Bangkok celebrates the eclectic cuisine of Turkey, a culturally rich county straddling Eastern Europe and Western Asia.
We are delighted to welcome Culinary Designer Mr. Ayhan Coner, as well as Executive Chef Mr. Aydin Demir and their culinary team who are all looking forward to welcoming you with an additional Fashion Exhibition with garments by famous Turkish designer Ms. Ozlem Suer. This 11-day food-meets-fashion event is being curated by Ms. Emel Sevil Ozer from Turkey.
With influences from ancient Greek, Persian, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman empires, Turkey boasts some of the oldest ‘fusion’ dishes in the world, with flavors and recipes refined from Central Asian, Middle Eastern, Eastern European and Balkan cuisines.
The World’s Turkish Food Festival runs from 20 – 30 November 2019 at our location on the 24th floor of Centara Grand at CentralWorld.
The all-you-can-eat menu of Turkish delights is priced at just THB 850++ person (lunch, food only) and THB 1,690++ person (dinner including free-flow drinks package).
Alongside The World’s regular international buffet, special menu items to look out for include Steamed beef with vegetable and mastic gum, Lamb Chops Casserole with dry fruits, Sirloin beef cook in pot with cinnamon stich, Pumpkin Soup with chestnuts, Milk pudding with icing sugar and rose water and much more.
