Cafe@2 is inviting diners to celebrate Chinese New Year 2020 in style with our enticing cuisine. Perfect for families, groups of friends and couples, the Chinese New Year Buffet is a wonderful way to celebrate the Spring Festival and welcome the Lunar New Year with your loved ones.
On Saturday, 25January 2020, which marks Lunar New Year’s Day, Café@2 is serving up an extensive range of festive delicacies at its special Chinese New Year Buffet. Priced at THB 1,650* per person, this joyous culinary occasion will feature a delectable selection of authentic appetizers, soups, Cantonese delicacies, market garden salads and handmade dim sum, plus fresh seafood, dramatic live stations and divine desserts.
Following a line-up of light starters, including Cantonese spring rolls, tasty turnip cakes, a “build-your-own” salad bar with a choice of dressings, and lotus root and pork spare rib soup. Guests may also head to the dedicated Oyster Bar for freshly shucked oysters, or savor succulent poached prawns on ice with a variety of sauces.
An array of classic Cantonese main courses are available, such as steamed whole sea bass with soya sauce, poached whole chicken with ginger and scallion oil, stir-fried clams in black bean sauce, stir-fried Shanghai prawns, sticky rice with Chinese sausage, and “Buddha’s Delight” – stir-fried vegetables and mushrooms.
This bountiful buffet also promises “All Things Crab”, with five premium types (blue crab, mud crab, Chilean crab, king crab and snow crab) and black shell Dutch mussels, all cooked in a variety of local and international styles. The live food stalls will showcase whole barbecued suckling pig, roasted red pork belly and Peking duck, plus street food-style noodle stalls. These sensational stations will ensure that diners keep coming back for more throughout the evening!
Diners can then end their meal with indulgent sweet treats such as sesame seed balls, Nian-Gao (Chinese sticky rice cakes), Chinese egg tarts and almond cookies, along with seasonal tropical fruits.
