Conrad Bangkok Celebrates the Joy of Chocolate with Special Savory and Sweet Dishes at its Five Restaurants

Conrad Bangkok is celebrating the joy of chocolate with a new selection of sweet and savory dishes with a twist! Diners can experience these unique ‘Chocolate Recipes’ at Conrad Bangkok’s five restaurants from 1 March to 30 April 2020.

An antioxidant-rich superfood, chocolate is enjoyed by millions every day. Our chefs have now elevated this popular ingredient with a selection of unique recipes. From Ōra King salmon enriched with a crispy chocolate crust, to Chocolate braised short ribs with truffle potatoes, each distinctive dish showcases the culinary versatility of chocolate and the creativity of Conrad Bangkok’s chefs.


The expert Japanese chefs at KiSara, an authentic Japanese restaurant, have unveiled three delicious savory creations: a sushi-style Tori kunsei chocolate fuumi no balsamic sauce (THB 350), and grilled Yakiniku chocolate fuumi (THB 900), along with an elegant sweet – Yuzu ice cream with coconut and chocolate dressing (THB 220).



At Liu, Conrad Bangkok’s premier Chinese restaurant, diners can experience a choice of special menu items, including Deep-fried dumpling with chocolate filling (THB 80) and Steamed Chinese bun with chocolate filling (THB 120).


Café@2, our cozy all-day dining destination, has created four mouth-watering dishes from around the world. These include Homemade chocolate pappardelle with prawns, fava beans and fresh mint (THB 520), Ōra King salmon with a crispy chocolate crust, baby salad leaves and aioli (THB 840), Pan-seared wagyu beef with red cabbage, shiso leaves and chocolate & red wine sauce (THB 1,250), and Chocolate lava cake with calvados ice cream and fresh fig (THB 380).

Unwind by the pool at City Terrace poolside restaurant and enjoy a choice of sweet and savory chocolate creations. City Terrace puts a unique twist on an Asian classic in Stir-fried noodles with pork, vegetables, soy sauce and chocolate (THB 440), while also showcasing the finest traditions of French patisserie in Chocolate beignets with saffron Chantilly cream (THB 420).



Finally, diners seeking a tasty daytime snack or delectable evening bite can head to Diplomat Bar, Conrad Bangkok’s lively jazz bar, which is presenting Chocolate braised short ribs with truffle wedge potatoes (THB 820) and Deep-fried dumplings with chocolate filling (THB 360).
