AustCham Members' Briefing - Wednesday 6 August 2014

Over the past 50 years, Australia’s trade with Asia has risen dramatically. The tyranny of distance no longer exists. In response to this global change the Australian Government is committed to building business opportunities and strengthening relationships via the Asian Business Engagement Plan (ABE).

In 2013/2014 AustCham received 30,000 AUD from the Australian government to help members expand their business networks and facilitate new business opportunities, as well as raise awareness of Australian business capabilities in Asia.  AustCham has also secured an additional 66,800 AUD in 2014/15.

To learn more about the ABE, please join us before August Sundowners where we will showcase a series of videos on doing Business in Thailand and Myanmar, as well as introduce you to our “Sphere of Influence” projects that will be undertaken over the next 12 months.

This gathering also presents members with the opportunity to share their thoughts about emerging business issues and growth engines in Thailand.
