Special Business Luncheon: “Thai tourism and ASEAN open skies with the President of Thai Airways” - Friday 10 July 2015
AustCham Thailand is honoured to invite members and guests to attend a special business luncheon with the President of Thai Airways on the topic of “Thai Tourism and ASEAN Open Skies”. The ASEAN Open Skies policy came into effect on January 1, 2015 intending to increase regional and domestic connectivity and enhance regional trade by allowing airlines from ASEAN member states to fly freely throughout the region under a single, unified air transport market. The new policy includes higher standards of safety and other measures regarding flight operations. Airline industry analysts argue that the competitive market generated by the successful implementation of the policy will lead to improvements in service quality and lower ticket prices. Khun Charamporn Jotikasthira, President of Thai Airways International, will share his thoughts on progress to date.
