AustCham Thailand, together with AMCHAM and BCCT would like to invite members and guests to the Joint Legal and ICT Meeting hosted by AMCHAM on the topic ‘Digital Economy Related Laws’ on Feb 23 at 7.30 am at JW Marriott hotel

For any business participating in the digital economy in Thailand, understanding recently adopted and pending computer crime, cyber security and privacy laws is essential. Businesses and their legal counsels must recognize how to comply with these laws and the practical effects of that compliance on their privacy policies and procedures, their representations to consumers and the continuity of their online services.

Through moderator questions highlighting analogous U.S. laws and procedures, panel members will outline key Thai digital economy law changes and the potential impact of these changes on commerce.

Paul graduated from Georgetown Law Center and founded and manages The Jorgensen Law Firm PLLC based in Washington D.C. Paul specializes in contracts, intellectual property, e-commerce, and online privacy and security. Before founding the firm in 2006, Paul was with Patton Boggs LLP, Choice Hotels International, Inc. and Venable, Baetjer, Howard & Civiletti.
