“Bid Rigging, Customer Allocation, Price Fixing: what’s in the new Trade Competition Act, and how will it be enforced?”
With all the recent laws that have been passed, no Act is more important in assuring a competitive market than the new Trade Competition Act.
The passage of the Trade Competition law also coincides with a global trend of foreign competition agencies acting more aggressively. Will Thailand’s Trade Competition Commission with its new independence also be embolden? Does the new Act target specific types of restraints on trade? What is a monopoly? These and other questions will be addressed.
AMCHAM's Legal Committee is honoured to host Dr. Deunden Nikomborirak and Mr. Rattakrai Limsiritrakul, both of whom have been involved in shaping trade competition policy and law, to give their perspectives and share their expertise on the economics and law of the new Trade Competition Act.
Who should attend: General Managers, Compliance officers, CFO’s, Sales and Marketing executives, and the lawyers.
