The AMCHAM Trade & Investment Committee and Auto Council invite members to join their upcoming special talk on "Automation, Robotics, and You" – and How automation, robotics, technology, supply chain management, and artificial intelligence will change your competitiveness and work. This event will be held in Pattaya and will precede the October Eastern Seaboard (ESB) Networking Evening, hosted by AMCHAM, held in conjunction with the Australian, Canadian, German, Mexican, Singapore, South African, Dutch and BeluThai chambers of commerce. Automation and Robotics have become a prominent area since their conception in 1959 in the USA. Subsequently, they have been successfully implemented in Japan to encourage industrial productivity enhancement. However, robotics is still in an infant stage; with new discoveries and improved state of the art occurring regularly. Artificial intelligence is playing an important role in all three robotics disciplines through perception, cognition and manipulation mobility. This combination has contributed towards several states of practices, using robotics technology as backbone of Industry 4.0. Thailand is committed to rapid development of new S-Curve industries with the robotics industry cluster as a common platform. With a focus on the Thailand's industrial transforming policies, AMCHAM's Trade & Investment Committee and Auto Council have invited prominent speakers from government and private sector to share their thoughts on this important issue. They will discuss the impact in the automotive and robotics industries on work, productivity and competitiveness to help achieve the next stage in Thailand’s industrial and economic development.
