AustCham Thailand invites members to attend a Business Briefing with the Phuket Hotel Association (PHA) to preview PHIST (Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism) 2019 to be held prior to Sundowners on Wednesday 4th September, 2019, at the Avani Sukhumvit Hotel.
Join us to hear more about Phuket Hotels for Islands Sustaining Tourism (PHIST) 2019, which is Southeast Asia's Biggest Green Hospitality Event. It's an innovative event that rallies the hotel industry and its stakeholders to discuss both environmental sustainability and social impact and governance. The event features a wide range of industry experts and panelists, as well as an exhibition of green suppliers and interactive workshops. Leading up to PHIST, we have hosted a Green Beat 60 video competition, asking those with a keen interest in the environment to submit 60 second videos on what all of us can do to help. The videos will be showcased at PHIST, and the winner of the competition will be awarded some very attractive prizes. A huge topic at PHIST will be the subject of Green Meetings, and what the Phuket Hotels Association's member hotels have done to ensure more sustainable venues for large corporate meetings and events. PHIST is a collaborative effort that endeavors to showcase that by putting our best ideas and practices together, we can ensure that Phuket remains attractive to international travelers and its local inhabitants for years to come.
