7 MAY - Virtual Sundowners

  • Thursday, May 07, 2020
  • 18:00 - 19:00
  • ZOOM online meeting

Thailand premier networking event is in hiatus due to COVID-19, but AustCham will endeavor to keep providing our members with networking opportunities in true AustCham style.

With this in mind, we invite members and guests to join us for our first Virtual Sundowners!

While we are missing the physical connection, you will still be able to:

  • Catch up with familiar faces and meet new people;
  • Share ideas and experience with members of the Australian-Thai business community;
  • Learn updates from friends working in different sectors & industries; and
  • Relax after work with cool beverage (if you feel so inclined – it’s your shout in the virtual world).

Join us at 6.00pm on Thursday 7th May 2020 where you will first enter a large meeting to hear a message from our President, Benjamin Krieg and the Board of Directors. After which, you will be placed in online ‘breakout rooms’ of around 10pax for more intimate conversations as you would normal experience at our Sundowners.

After registration, you will be asked to indicate your breakout room preference as below (topic followed by Directors leading discussion):
Room 1 = Hospitality & Tourism update – Benjamin Krieg and M.L. Laksasubha Kridakon
Room 2 = The New Norms – Brenton Mauriello, Saj Iqbal, and Sally O’Hara
Room 3 = Australian Government Support, including online study in Australia options – Apiradee Bunyalekha and Susan Kahwati
Room 4 = Information quality and availability in Thailand, with focus on the time of COVID-19 – Chris McLoughlin
Room 5 = Small Business & Entrepreneur update – Simon Wetherell, Andrew Norton, and Chaiwat Keratisuthisathorn
Room 6 = Manufacturing update – Frank Holzer
