13 MAY - AustCham Thailand Webinar on "Handy Tips for Online Learning & Home Schooling"

  • Thursday, May 13, 2021
  • 13:00 - 13:30
  • ZOOM Online

As parents find themselves in the middle of a home schooling phase again, AustCham Thailand empathizes with our members and is committed to showing support where we can.

This webinar is designed to provide tips on home schooling for families and teachers alike, as we welcome Mr. Raj Ladva, Deputy Head of Pre-prep at King’s College International School Bangkok.

Raj is highly experienced in British curriculum education and is passionate about making a difference to young people. He is experienced in developing curricula and leading pre-prep schools both in Thailand and the UK. Raj joins our Senior Leadership Team from a British international school where he was one of the leaders of curriculum and learning. He has gained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a PGCE in Primary Education (ages 3–7) and an NPQ in Middle Leadership.

In January when King’s Bangkok was forced to do the online learning, Raj has been a leader in tailoring the curriculum to fit the children’s need in their development. He has taken several initiatives including those that involve parents in a reasonable manner to ensure that no child would have been left behind when the campus was close. As a result, parents have given full confidence in King’s Bangkok online education. As of the survey result at the end of the last online learning period, 100% of parents said their child has been well taken care of by form teachers, 99.4% of parents rated the teaching and learning as good to excellent, and 98.2% of parents said they were satisfied with the online learning.

Join us to learn Raj’s initiatives for success.
