The Advance Australia Council (AAC) invites members of the Australian-Thai community join us for a virtual meeting on “REACH OUT – Dealing with mental wellness as the pandemic continues”
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to provide obstacles and challenges most of us have never faced, and with this comes increased stress and tension on our work / family lives. During this time, the AAC would like to encourage people to REACH OUT and talk about issues being faced, as a means to strengthening our mental wellness to get us all through the pandemic.
We have invited two key speakers to lead the REACH OUT conversation at our meeting on Wednesday 8 September 2021 at 17.00 - 18.00 hrs (TH time).
Sherry has over 25 years of experience in both corporate and counselling roles. She has an MBA, MA in Counselling and is a Clinical Member of the Australian Counselling Association (Level 4) and Psychotherapists and Counselling Association. She will provide an overview of what services are available and benefits of reaching out to find support during these times.
“Luffy” is a former AFL player with the Sydney Swans, who now works in media and is an ambassador for ‘Beyond Blue’. He is open to sharing his own experiences with mental wellness, which has affected his life and career.
The meeting will be moderated by Laura Malloch, President of the Australian–New Zealand Women’s Group (ANZWG)
