Re-emerging from COVID: What does that mean for families and education?
The impact of the COVID‐19 pandemic and ensuing social restrictions has been profound, affecting the health, livelihoods, and wellbeing of populations worldwide. With life returning to how it once was, families are presented with many new adjustments in response to the pandemic.
This session aims to provide opportunities for families to explore the impact of COVID 19 and the way the pandemic has shaped and influenced life. Through conversations with experts, the session will reflect upon the way society is re-emerging from restrictions and highlight ways that parents, schools, and communities can support each other, learn from the experience and move forward
The overall objective of the session is to review the perspectives of educational and medical experts in this area to develop a deeper understanding of potential challenges our children face and how to better respond and navigate a different normal in response to COVID.
The session will also provide a unique opportunity for parents to connect, and get to know each other’s experiences and perspectives through discussions, questions, and shared experiences.
