Registrations for the Business Mission to Thailand, coordinated by elkamy consulting in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy Canberra, the Thailand Board of Investment’s Sydney Office, the Trade Centre Sydney and the Australia Thailand Business Council, are now open. A limited number of places are still available for Australian businesses interested in attending the Business Mission to Thailand from 21 to 24 August 2023. About the Business Mission to Thailand The mission to Thailand will consist of bilateral meetings with senior government officials and other priority stakeholders focusing on investment and trade opportunities for Australian businesses in Thailand. Businesses interested in Thailand’s Bio Circular Green (BCG) industries, manufacturing opportunities or simply wish to understand more about the trade and investment opportunities in the country are encouraged to register. The mission program has been tailored to ensure that is aligns with the needs of the mission delegation. Australian businesses based in Thailand Australian’s who currently run businesses in Thailand, either with or without a parent company in Australia, are welcome to participate in the mission. Logistics Participants should plan to arrive in Bangkok on or before 21 August 2023 as an information and networking opportunity with mission delegates will be held that evening from 6.00pm. The formal mission program will start from the morning of 22 August and run until the afternoon of 24 August, depending on delegates requests. Mission Planning Two planning calls will be held prior to the Mission on the following dates to provide delegates with information about doing business in Thailand, updates on the mission program and provide an opportunity to ask any questions. Her Excellency, Ms. Arjaree Sriratanaban, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Australia will join the second planning call.
