Join us for our AustCham Thailand Breakfast Briefing on "Visa and Tax Essentials: What Every Individual Needs to Know", where experts will guide you through key visa regulations and tax requirements to ensure you're well-prepared and informed. Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights over a breakfast briefing!

Tax Essentials: As the landscape of personal income tax in Thailand continues to evolve, staying informed about the latest developments is critical for individuals navigating complex financial and tax environments. I’m closely monitoring these changes to provide key insights into recent updates that impact personal income tax, especially with regard to the new interpretations of foreign-source income, worldwide taxation, CRS (Common Reporting Standard), and tax incentives for Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa holders.
LTR Visa: The Long-Term Resident (LTR) visa program offers four distinct categories, each with specific qualifications and tax benefits, along with ancillary advantages such as family inclusion, work permits, and exemptions under Thailand's labor laws, providing an attractive option for foreign professionals, retirees, and investors seeking long-term residence in the country.
