The Consulate-General was officially opened in August 2017 by Foreign Minister Julie Bishop.  Prior to the Consulate-General's opening, Australia's interests in Phuket were handled by Honorary Consuls Mr Larry Cunningham OAM and later Ms Michelle Hawryluk.  In 2015 the Australian Government announced that its presence in Phuket would be upgraded from an Honorary Consul to a full Consulate-General, reflecting the strength of the Australia-Thailand bilateral relationship and the number of Australians travelling and residing in Phuket.

      Payment and Cancellation policy:
      • Advance payment is required to confirm your registration and if payment not made 48 hours before event, your place will be passed on to the waiting list.
      • Free cancellation within 48 hours before the event and payments are refundable or transferred to next event’s credit.
      • Cancellations received less than 48 hours (2 days) and no-shows are NOT able to receive neither a refund nor credit. For those who haven’t paid will be charged with invoice unconditionally.
      • Transferred credit must be used within 6 months from the notice date, otherwise you will NOT be eligible for the use of credit nor refundable to cash.
