Meet our Speakers 

Ishan Shah​; Partner, BDO in Thailand

With more than 11 years of experience in International and Corporate tax, Ishan has earned extensive knowledge on tax consulting and planning.

Ishan started his career with international tax and transfer pricing in India and has worked with companies across several industries. He moved to Thailand in 2016 and has been advising multinational companies on their tax structures and planning. He strongly believes that tax planning is vital for all companies. He says, “tax is not just an expense for doing business, if planned well tax adds benefit in the growth of a company.” He has assisted several companies securing business permits in Thailand (like Board of Investment license, foreign business license, treasury center license).

Noel Ashpole; Managing Partner, BDO in Thailand

Noel began her work in professional services over 30 years ago in the UK, and has since developed her expertise in Australia, Hong Kong, and Thailand. She spent much of her career as an audit partner at large professional services firms.

Noel’s talent and dedication has led her to develop strong relationships with regulatory bodies, provide audit and advisory services to multi-national clients, and help her organisations build a long-standing reputation for quality. She is a member of the Thai Institute of International Auditors as well as the Thai Institute of Directors.

Matthew Cutt​; Partner, BDO in Thailand and Treasurer, AustCham Thailand

As a chartered accountant with over 19 years of experience in the UK, Australia, and Thailand, Matthew has worked extensively within the BDO family as prior to joining this firm was a partner with BDO in Australia. His connection to Thailand began in earnest when he met his wife (who is Thai), and fell in love with the country and its culture as well. He has since immersed himself into the Thai business community as he is also a Director and Treasruer of the Australian Thai Chamber of Commerce "Austcham" and delivers various webinars and presentations to the Thai business community. Some of which is accredited with the Thai Federation of Accountants (FAP).

    • Free cancellation within 2 working days before the event and payments are refundable or transferred to next event’s credit.
    • Cancellations received less than 2 working days and no-shows are NOT able to receive neither a refund nor credit. For those who haven’t paid will be charged with invoice unconditionally.
    • Transferred credit must be used within 6 months from the notice date, otherwise you will NOT be eligible for the use of credit nor refundable to cash.
