Join AMCHAM, AustCham, and BCCT for a special Pride Month afternoon tea, where this year’s theme is Bring an Ally. In a time when global events continue to impact the LGBTQI+ community, this gathering offers a space to celebrate solidarity, inclusion, and progress in Thailand. Our featured speaker, Stephanie Galera, Head of Southeast Asia, Open for Business, will lead a conversation on the business and economic case for LGBTQI+ inclusion, spotlighting how allyship drives innovation, resilience, and equitable growth. Whether you are a member of the community or an ally, we welcome you to connect, reflect, and stand together in pride.

About the Speaker:

Stephanie Galera, Head of Southeast Asia, Open for Business. Staph (She/her) is a proud Asian woman raised in the Philippines, now residing in Thailand. She is also part of the women, LGBTQ+, and neurodiversity communities.

Steph was with a global tech company for 15 years and has been in different roles within HR and People disciplines from Talent Acquisition, Business and Data Analytics, Talent Development, and Diversity and Inclusion. She has had the unique opportunity to have volunteered and led Employee/Business Resource Groups for many years until she took on the strategic approach to DEI in HR organizations as a global DEI practitioner for workplace programs and community engagement. She continues to advocate for the LGBTQ+ communities in the region as the Head of Southeast Asia with Open for Business in building the economic case for LGBTQ+ inclusion. And as a consultant for Radius based in APAC, Steph uses her unique knowledge of the region to support and connect employee resource groups across Asia and globally.
