"The AGM is fast approaching (amazing how time fly's) and as members you will be voting for a new Board of Directors. In this transition we are unfortunately losing one of our most effective Directors Rananda Rich; Country Manager of Blackmore's Thailand. Rananda is returning to Australia for bigger and better things. Thank you Rananda for you contribution to the Chamber. You will be greatly missed.

The Chamber has been well served over the year by pursuing diversity on its board and one aspect of that has been strong female representation. With Ranada's departure that goal is at risk unless we can attract to the board strong female and Thai National candidates.

Please encourage anybody you know who can meet the challenge to nominate for the Austcham Board of Directors.

The board is also well into the process for interviewing and selecting a new Executive Director. Applications closed 1st February and we are pleased with the number and quality of applications. We should be in a position to finalize an offer within the new few weeks. "
